Recommended by our dear friends the Keatings (Jim & Lucille), Spanish Point Golf Club is a 9 hole course you play twice – some holes have a 2nd Tee so the hole feels different – for a full 18 hole round.
For 25 Euros, it’s a terrific value! Even though it’s 9 holes – it’s definitely not an “executive” course. There are some challenging holes, especially the Par 5 Hole 3 – uphill all the way, with blind Tee-shot, and do not be short on your approach to the green or a deep valley awaits you. The #1 handicap Par 4 Hole 5, also with blind Tee-shot, is tremendously challenging. Ending with two picturesque Par 3 holes, Spanish Point is a clever and unique course and worth a visit if your travels allow.
